How to Save When Visiting Disney World
Saving money when visiting to Disney World probably seems to be a contradiction, but with some planning and preparation, visitors can have an enjoyable visit to Florida without running up a huge bill.
The Walt Disney World Resort is absolutely huge, with an area of nearly 46 total miles just outside Orlando, Florida. There are four gigantic theme areas, Epcot, MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, and the Magic Kingdom. With so many things to see, visitors usually spend at least a week just to take it all in. Disney has built more than a dozen hotels just to house visitors to the area.
Of course, Disney executives recognize that folks are looking for different things when visiting the area. For this reason, they have hotels that fit everyone's budget. Hotels are separated into Value, Moderate, and Deluxe levels. Value is sort of the Walt Disney way of saying less expensive, but visitors won't be disappointed, as the Disney Value hotels are nice and comfortable. Moderate resorts are one step up, offering bigger rooms and sit down dining on the property.
Deluxe resorts at Disney World are top-of-the-line accommodations built to satisfy and pamper any guest. Some of the resorts such as the Contemporary Resort and Polynesian are along the elevated train, so you can easily travel to the Magic Kingdom without using a car or taking a bus. Rooms are also larger, and the Disney World environment is always magical.
So how do you decide which resort to stay at? Well would you rather spend your hard earned cash on souvenirs or pamper yourself with the best, after all you are on vacation? Value rooms like the Pop Century can cost anywhere from $65 to $120 per night, while top end Resorts start from $250 and go up from there. As you can see, if you extrapolate that by 7 to 10 days, you could end up spending thousands more just for a better room.
The option is yours, but whatever you pick, you will be sure Disney World employees will work hard to make sure you and your family have a good visit on your trip away from home.
